Welcome to AIME. By downloading, installing, or using the AIME macOS application, you agree to the Terms and Conditions described on this page. Please read them carefully before you begin using the app.

AIME is created and maintained by AIME Studio. If you have any questions regarding these terms, you may contact our support team at any time.

Acceptance of Terms

By using AIME, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not install or use the application.

AIME reserves the right to update this page whenever necessary. Continued use of the application after any update means that you accept the revised terms.

Use of OpenAI Services

AIME relies on the OpenAI API to generate rewritten text. You must supply your own valid OpenAI API key, and you must have an active OpenAI subscription that supports API usage.

Your OpenAI API key is stored securely in your macOS Keychain. AIME does not store, transmit, collect, or share your key at any time. All API calls are sent directly from your device to OpenAI. The responsibility for safeguarding the key belongs entirely to you.

AIME cannot control or influence how OpenAI manages its service. OpenAI may change pricing, subscriptions, rate limits, features, model behavior, or access requirements at any time. These changes may affect how AIME functions, and they may interrupt or alter your experience.

If OpenAI updates its billing structure or subscription terms, all cost changes remain your responsibility. Any additional charges, higher usage fees, increased subscription rates, invoice corrections, or billing adjustments created by OpenAI are managed directly between you and OpenAI. AIME does not cover, refund, or offset any cost related to OpenAI services.

Your ability to use AIME depends on the availability and performance of the OpenAI API. If the API experiences downtime, outages, slow responses, policy enforcement actions, or permanent changes, AIME may be affected. AIME is not responsible for these interruptions.

User Responsibility and Content

You are responsible for all text you submit to AIME and for checking the accuracy, suitability, and safety of all AI-generated output. AIME improves wording and clarity, but it does not validate facts or guarantee the correctness of any rewritten content.

You must not use AIME to generate harmful, illegal, infringing, or abusive material. You must comply with both OpenAI’s Usage Policies and any laws that apply in your region.

You hold full ownership of the text you write and the output you create, subject to the terms and policies of OpenAI. If OpenAI adjusts its copyright or intellectual property policies in the future, those changes may affect how you may use AI-generated content. These changes are outside of AIME’s control.

Payments and Subscriptions

AIME is a paid macOS application. All payments for the app are handled through the official Apple App Store. Apple controls the billing process, and all refunds or purchase disputes must be directed to Apple.

AIME does not charge additional fees beyond the original purchase price displayed on the Apple App Store. There is no separate AIME subscription.

All costs associated with OpenAI usage are managed directly between you and OpenAI. Any price changes, new fees, model charges, usage limits, or billing adjustments performed by OpenAI remain your sole responsibility.

AIME does not have access to your OpenAI billing information and cannot issue refunds or credits for any OpenAI charges.

Multilingual Features

AIME can rewrite and translate content across many languages. While the app is designed to support natural-sounding multilingual output, AIME does not guarantee accuracy, cultural sensitivity, or legal suitability for professional use in every language.

You are responsible for ensuring that translated or rewritten text meets your standards and complies with local regulations.

Compatibility and Application Support

AIME works across any macOS application that supports copy and paste. The experience may vary depending on your system settings, macOS permissions, accessibility preferences, or third-party software interactions.

AIME requires a stable internet connection for API requests. If the connection is unstable, slow, or interrupted, your results may be delayed or incomplete.

Personal Preferences and Custom Instructions

AIME allows you to set personalized writing preferences. These preferences remain stored locally on your device. While AIME attempts to follow these instructions consistently, it does not guarantee complete accuracy in every rewrite.

Limitation of Liability

AIME is provided on an as-is basis. This means the application is offered without any warranty, guarantee, or promise of uninterrupted performance.

AIME is not responsible for:

• any incorrect, unclear, harmful, or inappropriate AI-generated content
• any loss of data or unintended modifications caused by user actions
• any downtime or disruption caused by OpenAI or network issues
• any OpenAI billing changes, credit adjustments, or new subscription requirements
• any damages related to misuse of AI-generated output
• any commercial, educational, legal, or professional consequences resulting from using rewritten content

You agree that your use of AIME is entirely at your own risk.

Termination

AIME reserves the right to deny service to any user who violates these Terms and Conditions or who attempts to misuse the application. You may stop using AIME at any time by uninstalling the app.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of your region of residence. If a part of these Terms and Conditions becomes unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to remain valid.
